How do I access my Account? This is one of the most common questions. First, login here (you must know your Hosting Account Username and Password to Login; if you need them please call us). Then you can work with Email, Webmail, and your Hit Statistics.

Email
Your Servata Hosting Account allows you up to 10 email accounts, plus Webmail. To add new, edit existing, or delete email accounts:

  1. Login
  2. Click the Services button
  3. Click the Email button
  4. On the screen that appears, click the Add button to add a new email account
  5. A form will appear to enter your email account information
  6. Click the Add button at the bottom to add the new email account
  7. To Edit or Delete an existing Email Account, choose the email account by name from the drop down list
  8. Click the Select button
  9. Once you've made your changes click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the form, or just click the Delete button to delete the account.

Hit Statistics Hit Statistics give you an idea of how much traffic is coming to your site, how many pages have been viewed, how many visitors have visited, what pages they've seen, and what search engines they used to get their.

To view Hit Statistics
To view Hit Statistics:

  1. Login
  2. Click the Reports button
  3. Click the Hit Stats button
  4. Enter the date range on the right
  5. Click the Go button next to the top section for Hit Stats
  6. The system takes a few seconds to calculate the Total Hits
  7. There are more than 20 different statistics that can be calculated for any date range
  8. After each statistic is calculated click the next Go button
  9. To start over with a new date range, click the button that says "Change Date range and Reset Displayed Stats"

Setting up Email Account in Outlook
Although you can easily setup email accounts on the Servata server using the process outlined above, you still need to set them up in ?Outlook (or whatever email program you use on your computer). To setup email accounts in Outlook:

  1. In Outlook, click Tools | Accounts
  2. Click Add | Mail
  3. Enter all your information as you normally would screen by screen
  4. For POP server, use mail.yourdomain.com (use your own domain name, starting with mail. instead of www.)
  5. For your username, enter your entire email address (like you@yourdomain.com)
  6. For your password, enter the password for your email address (you made it up when you created your email account)

Webmail
Like Yahoo and Google, Servata gives you complete Webmail service, so you can check and send emails from any computer with a browser. To use Webmail:

  1. Login
  2. Click Services
  3. Click the Webmail link.
  4. When the Webmail screen appears, enter your entire email address as your username, then enter your email account password, then enter your email address again.
  5. You can now review all your emails, and send and receive.
